L.I.F.E. - Long Island Folding Enthusiasts |
EXHIBITIONS In the past, we have participated in the Long Island Festival of Trees involves the creation of hundreds of origami ornaments fitting a color scheme and/or chosen theme. We needed to make new models every year as the trees are sold with all proceeds going to The Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County. Our first tree was sold for $1,000. This is a judged event and there are 50 trees in the "large tree" category. We have won many ribbons for our trees including "Most Artistic" and "most Unique." For the Year 2001. We needed models in pink, white and silver or holograhic paper. The tree will have pink lights and large and small models are encouraged. |
